Anticipated Demonstration Activity: April 11 to April 30, 2022

In partnership with a range of cross-sector public-safety agencies, Titan Security is monitoring the following event and protest activities.

Anticipated Demonstration Activity

• Friday, April 15 at 9:00am, 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza) to 735 N State (Holy Name Cathedral), Group will gather/march for their cause “Annual Way of the Cross”
• Saturday, April 16 at 2:30pm, 1 E Erie (Chinese Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “Falan Dafa Group Exercises and Rally to Commemorate the Peaceful Appeal of Falun Gong Practitioners in China 4/25/1999”
• Friday, April 22 at 2:30pm, 301 S Columbus (Buckingham Foundation) to 1 S Dearborn Plaza (Chicago Board of Ed), Group will gather/march for their cause “Earth Day Student Protest! We Demand Green Schools for Chicago!”
• Saturday, April 23 at 7:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their event “#endgunviolence Prayer Vigil”
• Thursday, April 28 at 12:00pm, 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Rally”
• Friday, April 29 at 12:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Standing Silent Witness – End Sexual Violence”
• Friday, April 29 at 4:30pm, 500 W Madison (Israeli Consulate)to 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “March for Palestine and Al Quds in Chicago”

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

• If you see something suspicious, report it
• Carry water and stay hydrated
• Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
• Utilize the buddy system
• Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
• Leave any valuables at home
• Do not jump any barricades
• Secure handbags and wallets
• Stay calm and pleasant
• Follow your own instincts
• Leave yourself room to move quickly
