Chicago Protest and Event Activity: August 15 to August 31, 2022

Titan Security, in partnership with our cross-sector public safety providers, is monitoring a series of demonstrations and special events in or near the Chicago Loop.

Anticipated Events/Demonstrations

  • Monday, August 15 at 6:00pm: 78 E Washington (Chicago Cultural Center), Group will gather for their cause “76th Independence Day of India” *
  • Tuesday, August 16 at 12:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Flag Raising – Pakistan Independence Day”
  • Wednesday, August 17 at 8:00am: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “City Council Bike Jam”
  • Thursday, August 18 at 11:00am: 100 N Riverside (Boeing HQ), Group will gather for their cause “Demand Gov. Pritzker Stop Funding War Profiteers”
  • Friday, August 19 at 4:30pm: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group may gather for their event “Teen Trend Meetup”
  • Saturday, August 20 at 8:00am: 1200 N LaSalle (Planned Parenthood), Group will gather for their cause “Rally for Justice”
  • Saturday, August 20 at 6:00pm: 600 E Grand (Navy Pier), Group will gather for their cause “Ukraine Forever – Ukrainian Independence Commemoration” **
  • Sunday, August 21 at 2:00pm: 806 N Michigan (Water Tower Place) to 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group will gather/march for their cause “Arm Ukraine Now, A Woman’s Silent Protest”
  • Tuesday, August 23 at 6:00pm: W Randolph / N Clark, Group will gather for their cause “ECPS Now!”
  • Wednesday, August 24 at 12:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Flag Raising Ceremony for Ukraine” **
  • Friday, August 26 at 5:30pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Chicago Critical Mass”
  • Friday, August 26 at 6:00pm: 121 N LaSalle (City Hall). Group will gather for their cause “On Women’s Equality Day We Speak Out to Expand Abortion Care in IL Now!”
  • Sunday, August 28 at 6:00am: 600 E Randolph to 900 S Columbus, Group will gather for their event “Chicago Triathlon”
  • Wednesday August 31 at 7:30am: N Broadway/N Halsted to W Washington/N Halsted; Group will gather/ride for their cause “Chicago Bike Grid Now Halsted Bike Bus Run”
  • Wednesday, August 31 at 12:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Malaysian Flag Raising 2022”

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
