Chicago Special Events and Demonstrations: May 25 to June 11, 2022

In cooperation with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security is monitoring the following special events and demonstrations in or near the Chicago Loop. Note that other events, including the Crosstown Classic baseball series at Guaranteed Rate Field, could also impact the city core.

• Friday, June 3 at 1:00pm, 455 Cityfront Pl (NBC Tower/Indian Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “Protesting Against Indian Government in Memory of the 1984 Operation Blu Star”
• Friday, June 3 at 6:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “George Floyd Memorial Chicago #BlackLivesStillMatter”
• Sunday, June 5 at 9:30am, 1645 N LaSalle (Moody Bible Institute) and 745 N State (Holy Name Cathedral), Group will gather for cause criticizing other religious organizations ***

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

• If you see something suspicious, report it
• Carry water and stay hydrated
• Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
• Utilize the buddy system
• Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
• Leave any valuables at home
• Do not jump any barricades
• Secure handbags and wallets
• Stay calm and pleasant
• Follow your own instincts
• Leave yourself room to move quickly
