Winter Storm Advisory – February 17, 2022

EDITORS’ NOTE: This alert was updated Thursday, February 17th at 6:50 a.m. to reflect the NWS downgrading the storm from a Winter Storm Warning to a Winter Storm Advisory.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Advisory for Cook County on February 17, 2022.

Titan Security Group has been alerted that NWS has issued a Winter Storm Advisory for Cook County that is in effect from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CT on Thursday February 17, 2022. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected with winds gusting as high as 35 miles per hour.

If you must travel, please take additional time to prepare for the weather conditions and use caution. Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
