Titan Security was pleased to attend the monthly meeting of the Chicago Public-Private Task Force (CPPTF) on the morning of Thursday, February 10, helping to represent the cultural properties and commercial high-rise sectors. The group, co-chaired by the Office of Emergency Management and Communications and ChicagoFIRST, brings together organizations and associations from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to address common concerns.

- Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC): Weather events, protest activity and preparing for special event season
- Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH): Monitoring COVID status, available for further assistance
- Chicago Police Department 12th District (CPD 12): Violent crimes up slightly for January, upcoming demonstration at Union Park
- Chicago Police Department 18th District (CPD 18): Motor vehicle thefts continue to be high, primarily from delivery drivers leaving cars running
- Crime Prevention & Information Center (CPIC): Revising FIMS/CP3 system, internal promotions underway
- Department of Homeland Security/Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS/CISA): Monitoring multiple nationwide threats, including ongoing racially motivated bomb threats

- An immigration march is expected to take place at Union Park on Monday February 14. Details of this rally are pending.
- The St. Patrick’s Day river dyeing will extend to Wolf Point, further west than previous years; the parade will immediately follow the dyeing.
- The Vehicular Hijacking Task Force provided an update including new technologies and multiple recent arrests.
- Member focus this month was the Chicago Cultural Properties Security Group (CCPSG), who provided an update of their membership makeup and interactions with the larger CPPTF membership.
