Chicago Protests and Events: June 16 to June 30, 2022

In coordination with our cross-sector life safety partners, Titan Security is currently monitoring the following demonstration and special event activity in or near the Chicago Loop.

Anticipated Activities

  • Friday, June 17 to Sunday June 19: 900 W Randolph, Group will gather for their event “Taste of Randolph”
  • Saturday, June 18 at 10:00am: 2000 W Congress to 121 N LaSalle (City Hall), Group will gather/drive for their cause “Gran Carvana De Oracion (Grand Prayer Caravan)”
  • Saturday, June 18 at 12:00pm: 8 S Michigan (Aid for Women), Group will gather for their cause “Protest a Fake Abortion Clinic”
  • Sunday, June 19 at 2:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza) to 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group will gather/march for their cause “Stand with Ukraine”
  • Sunday, June 19 at 4:00pm: 600 E Grand (Navy Pier), Group may gather for their event “Teen Trend Meetup”
  • Tuesday, June 21 at 4:00pm: 1601 N Dusable Lake Shore (North Ave Beach), Group may gather for their event “Teen Trend Meetup”
  • Wednesday, June 22 at 8:00am: 121 N LaSalle (City Hall), Group will gather for their cause “Bike Jam – City Hall Edition” *
  • Friday, June 24 at 5:30pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Chicago Critical Mass”
  • Friday, June 24 (tentative) at 5:30pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Emergency Response to Supreme Court Decision” **
  • Saturday, June 25 at 2:00pm to Sunday, June 26 at 10pm: 515 S Columbus (Grant Park), Group will gather for their cause “Pride in the Park” (includes local street closures)
  • Saturday, June 25 at 2:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “Azovstal: Free Mariupol Defenders”
  • Saturday, June 25 at 6:00pm: Various locations including Mag Mile and Wicker Park, Group may gather/ride for their event “World Naked Bike Ride: Chicago #19”

Notes/Analysis

* = Previous events have been relatively small but have involved intentional traffic disruptions

** = Demonstration will take place on whatever date SCOTUS abortion decision is announced

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
