In coordination with our cross-sector safety partners, Titan Security is monitoring the following special event and demonstration activity expected to impact the Chicago Loop in coming days.
Anticipated Events and Demonstrations
- Wednesday, October 5 at 7:30am: Various routes including N Milwaukee, N Halsted, S Halsted to 131 N Clinton (Ogilvie Station), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Chicago Bike Bus Halsted/Milwaukee” *
- Saturday, October 8 at 6:00am: Circuit running from Grant Park to Wacker Drive, Group will gather for their event “Abbott 5K”
- Saturday, October 8 at 11:00am: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Protest Against Hazara Genocide – Stand up for Justice for Womens Rights and Human Rights”
- Saturday, October 8 at 12:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Abortion & Full Reproductive Rights National Day of Action!”
- Saturday, October 9 at 7:30am: Circuit beginning in Grant Park and running citywide, Group will gather for their event “Chicago Marathon”
- Monday, October 10 at 12:30pm: 400 N State to 400 S State, Group will gather/march for their event “Columbus Day Parade”
- Tuesday, October 11 at 10:30am: 720 S Michigan (Hilton), Group will gather for their cause “Protest Personal PAC’s Fundraiser in Downtown Chicago”
- Friday, October 14 at 11:30am: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather/picket for their cause “Nuclear Disarmament Now!”
- Sunday, October 16 at 3:00pm: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group will gather for their cause “Circle of Defense in Chicago” **
- Monday, October 17 at 5:30pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Rally for Democracy: Our Freedoms, Our Vote”

Safety Tips Near/During Protests
- If you see something suspicious, report it
- Carry water and stay hydrated
- Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
- Utilize the buddy system
- Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
- Leave any valuables at home
- Do not jump any barricades
- Secure handbags and wallets
- Stay calm and pleasant
- Follow your own instincts
- Leave yourself room to move quickly
