Updated Demonstration Activity: January 22-February 5, 2022

In conjunction with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security is monitoring a number of anticipated demonstrations and special events in the Chicago area through February 4, 2022. Additional information is provided below.

Anticipated Event Activity

  • Saturday, January 22 at 2:00pm – 8 S Michigan, Group will gather for their cause “Protest Fake Clinics”
  • Wednesday, January 26 at 9:00am – 455 N Cityfront Plaza (Indian Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “Sikhs for Justice”
  • Thursday, January 27 at 5:00pm – 401 N Morgan (Morgan Manufacturing), Group will gather for their cause “Protest Planned Parenthood’s Roe vs. Wade Celebration” *
  • Friday, January 28 at 10:00am – 659 W Washington, Group will gather for their cause “#ProlifeBridge Downtown Chicago!”
  • Saturday, January 29 at 12:00pm – 100 W Randolph (Thompson Center), Group will gather for their cause “Freedom Unleashed: Chicago Rally to End the Mandates”
  • Monday, January 31 at TBD – Various CTA Train and Bus Stops, Group may gather for their cause “Shut Down for #16Shots” **
  • Thursday, February 3 at 4:00pm – 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Peoples Rally – #Justice4Laquan”
  • Friday, February 4 at 10:00am – 121 N LaSalle (City Hall), Group will gather for their cause  “Save our Children/Stop Gun Violence”
  • Saturday, February 5 at 1:00pm – 111 S Michigan (Art Institute), Group will gather for their cause “Chicago: No War With Russia”

Notes/Analysis

 = This particular protest has disappeared from social media and may or may not occur; can anticipate continuing demonstrations regarding Roe v Wade and pending U.S. Supreme Court actions
** = Small, affiliated group has previously gathered at Red Line stops along Dan Ryan for various political causes

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
