About Us

As President and CEO, Dave is responsible for leading and optimizing Titan’s strategic growth and development, day-to-day operations, and company policies and procedures. He actively provides support to clients through his industry expertise, advising clients on the most effective security solutions for their specific needs, and identifying and assembling the best team of professionals that have the right blend of managerial talent, operational abilities, and subject-matter proficiency, who are dedicated to Titan’s commitment to providing quality security services.

Since joining Titan in 2010, Dave has played a significant role in the substantial growth and expansion of the company’s personnel, market penetration, service offerings, and new client acquisition.

Prior to Titan, Dave was a Sr. Manager with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services team. He was responsible for providing financial advice for private equity buyers and both strategic buyers and sellers.

He is an active member of the BOMA/Chicago Emergency Preparedness Committee. Dave holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dayton. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Todd Lyle joined Titan as Chief Operating Officer in 2022 and is responsible for the oversight, procedures, and development of Titan’s corporate and national field operations. Todd demonstrates an incredible ability to lead change, build partnerships, and most importantly, take great pride in sponsoring and developing Titan’s team members under his leadership.

Prior to joining Titan, Todd played an influential and critical role in the security and safety industry for 30 years.  Most recently, Todd led large operations and supply chain teams for Walgreens while also partnering with legislators and national retailers in the development of legislation combating criminal activity and organized retail crime.

Isaac Lund joined Titan as CFO in 2022 and is responsible for Titan’s financial reporting, accounting, payroll, sales, pricing, procurement, and IT. He also participates in strategic plan development, merger and acquisition (M&A) activity, and contributes to the overall management of the company.

Prior to Titan, Isaac was CFO of Ohio Medical, a global leader in medical suction and oxygen therapy devices, and medical air and vacuum systems. Previously, Isaac was VP Corporate Development and M&A with National Express LLC, a global transportation company. He brings over 17 years of financial experience leading productive teams in finance, corporate development and IT built through proactive leadership and mentorship. He has completed over 35 M&A deals on both the buy and sell side. He started his career in public accounting with Protiviti and later Deloitte. He holds a BS in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy, both from University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Ross McCarthy joined Titan as Head of HR in 2021 and is responsible for the oversight and activities of the HR department, including recruiting and onboarding, training and development, engagement and retention, and employee and labor relations. Ross also works to maintain and build upon Titan’s strong culture and to make Titan an even better place to work.

Prior to Titan, Ross was VP of HR at The Parking Spot, the nation’s leading off-airport parking company with 38 locations in 16 states. During his tenure, The Parking Spot grew significantly, both organically and through acquisition and greenfield projects in new markets, while increasing its Net Promoter Score (NPS) to industry-leading levels and reducing employee turnover significantly below the industry. Previously, Ross was Global HR Director of two business units of IDEX Corporation, a $2B publicly traded operating company with over 40 business units globally. He also has held a variety of HR leadership roles at Sears Holdings Corporation, including in retail, supply chain, and corporate functions, was a consultant with Mercer, a large HR and management consulting firm, and started his career at Sloan Valve Company, a global manufacturer of plumbing products.

Ross holds a BS in Business Administration from St. Norbert College.

Mark has been with Titan since August of 1995 and has over 35 years of experience with integrated electronics and security systems. Mark leads Titan’s primary electronic security offerings including design build projects and security consulting engagements. In his role, Mark works directly with Titan’s clients to ensure that security-related design concepts will realize our client’s strategic vision and meet the specific needs of each property. During these engagements, Mark and his team will introduce products and ideas regarding system design and will analyze and provide security-specific design drawings.

Prior to joining Titan, Mark worked in a team-oriented approach in which he designed, installed, and maintained electronic security systems for several firms throughout the U.S. and North America. Mark earned his BA degree in Business Administration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and is licensed by the State of Illinois as an Alarm Contractor.

Craig joined Titan in 2021 and has a background in the electrical industry that started in 1998. He has extensive experience leading large-scale projects for both integrated electronics and security systems solutions. He has served in a variety of roles related to electronics, spanning from an installer all the way up to senior management.

Prior to joining Titan, Craig worked for a Chicago-based security integrator company. He is driven to provide clients with exceptional support through operational insight and expertise for design, sales, project management, service, and installation. He has substantial project experience implementing security technology solutions for some of the largest firms in the Chicagoland area.

As Vice President of Human Resources, Kim is responsible for a variety of different tasks, including but not limited to, oversight of the day-to-day activities of Titan’s HR Department, employee hiring, applicant tracking, employee counseling and orientation, policy development, union grievances, and much more. Kim is an essential part of Titan’s overall structure, as she aids in promoting and maintaining an enjoyable work environment at Titan.

Prior to joining Titan in January of 2011, Kim earned a degree in social work from Northeastern Illinois University. In December 2015, Kim obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and has continued as an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Kim’s background in HR and strong employee retention methods have furthered Titan’s success with hiring qualified candidates, and ensuring a welcoming work environment for all employees.

Paul joined Titan in 2023 as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing our physical security operations across the country and supporting clients and field teams in their day-to-day needs.

Prior to joining Titan, Paul spent over 20 years working in executive roles in the private security industry, supporting numerous verticals and company initiatives. Prior to his work in security, he served as a police officer in Bedford Heights, Ohio for 8 years.

Paul holds a BA in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Valparaiso University in Indiana.

As the Director of Training and Development, Ray is responsible for the development and execution of Titan’s training curriculum. Ray regulates and assesses our current and future training needs, develops and implements training plans, leads tenant training seminars, and promotes top-notch security training for our clients and their staff. Ray brought over 30 years of experience in the security industry to Titan when he joined our team in December of 2016. Prior to working at Titan, Ray was a Regional Specialty Trainer for a national security provider, where he was responsible for oversight of the training tactics used for staff members in over twenty (20) different states. Ray has also served as a security consultant, site supervisor, and trainer for a security and investigation company.

Ray has received two leadership awards from The John Buck Management Company, and has provided training services for several Fortune 100 corporations. Ray is a Certified Protection Instructor, and is certified as a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Instructor. Ray’s strong work ethic and vast experience in the security training field has helped mold Titan clients and staff into highly knowledgeable and safety prepared individuals.

Mike joined Titan in 2021 as the Senior Director of Response and Law Enforcement Liaison. He is responsible for the oversight and development of Titan’s response to emergency situations and acts as a liaison with local law enforcement agencies. Before joining Titan, Mike was with the Chicago Police Department for over 29 years and held the position of Deputy Chief of the Central Control Group, which encompasses the downtown Chicago area. Mike played an instrumental role in the planning and execution of police responses to large-scale events and protests and overseeing the day-to-day patrol operations in the Central Patrol Group.

Mike brings a tremendous amount of experience and expertise to Titan through his many years in law enforcement. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, previously a member of the NFL Security Committee, and was the Chicago Police Department’s representative to the Major Cities Chiefs Association Committee on law enforcement’s response to civil unrest.

Tom is responsible for implementing detailed risk and vulnerability assessments, as well as creating site-specific emergency operations plans. He composes emergency quick-reference guides and specialized training materials to provide clients with security references and assure that they are prepared for handling an emergency situation. Prior to joining Titan, Tom was a Senior Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Chicago, where he was responsible for disaster planning, physical-security, infrastructure, transportation, and antiterrorism analysis. He also served as the Director of Protection Services for the Art Institute of Chicago, ensuring the safety of over 1.5 million annual visitors and a multi-billion dollar art collection.

Tom is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), a Certified Institutional Protection Manager (CIPM II), and holds undergraduate degrees from St. Louis University and a Master’s Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University. He is the author of Urban Emergency Management, a textbook/handbook published by Elsevier in 2017. Tom’s emergency management skills have been influential in keeping Titan clients and employees prepared for emergency situations.

Since Todd joined Titan in 2016, he has significantly impacted the success of many commercial real estate security programs in the Chicagoland area. Prominent property sites include Millennium Park, Maggie Daley Park, the Chicago Riverwalk, and various other commercial buildings in the Chicago central business district.

Todd has been instrumental in consistently enhancing the security performance for all of the property sites he oversees. Whether it’s attention to detail during a site inspection, coaching supervisors and staff, or providing client relations, Todd excels at providing best-in-class leadership and support.

As a testament to his commitment to providing quality customer service and security management, Todd has been nominated twice by clients for the esteemed BOMA/Chicago, Golden Circle Security Professional of the Year Award. He is active in multiple local security industry organizations, including the Chicago Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism Association (Chicago HEaT), BOMA/Chicago, and the Chicago Chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He graduated with a degree in Education from Quincy University.

Suzanne joined Titan in 2020 and oversees residential accounts in the Chicagoland area. She began her career in security in 2006 and was promoted into multiple leadership roles. As a Vice President of Operations, she was responsible for managing security operations, policy creation, client relationships, fiscal planning and performance, and employee development at a wide range of properties which include: cultural, commercial, retail, residential, and healthcare properties.

Suzanne earned her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University. She achieved the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification in 2018 and is currently a member of the ASIS International Women in Security Community, BOMA/Chicago Security Preparedness Committee, and Illinois Security Professional Association (ISPA). She received the Security Life Saving Award in 2019 and Chairman’s Award in 2022 from ISPA. Suzanne was also named the ASIS Women in Security Liaison for the Chicago Chapter in 2021.

Anthony has been with Titan since 2018, where he has been active in overseeing the security management of a variety of properties in the central business district of Chicago. As Director of Operations, he has played a crucial role in implementing and improving processes and workflows across various commercial real estate buildings in the Chicagoland area.

His responsibilities include day-to-day operations, partner relationships, strategic growth strategies, transition implementation, and procedure development.

Anthony’s skill set, knowledge, and keen eye for detail have led to him being nominated for multiple leadership and special achievement awards throughout his 11 years in the security industry. Anthony is actively involved with BOMA/Chicago and the Chicago Real Estate Network (CREN). He graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Chris Gregory joined Titan in 2022 and oversees the security operations in Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding Mid-Tennessee area. Chris brings over 34 years of combined security and law enforcement experience to Titan, including over 23 years as a Deputy Sheriff with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office in Vero Beach, Florida. Before joining Titan, Chris oversaw security operations in Alabama and the Nashville, TN area in various market segments which included over 65,000-man hours per week. Additionally, Chris guided staff through their required courses as a State Licensed Trainer in both Alabama and Tennessee.

His responsibilities include day-to-day operations, partner relationships, strategic growth strategies, transition implementation, and procedure development throughout Tennessee.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving with the 347th Tactical Fighter Wing at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia.

As Director of Business Development, Dan Foran oversees all new business development for Titan. Dan leverages his years of industry expertise to provide strategic guidance to new and prospective clients, addresses security risks, relays account information to Titan’s team members, and ensures a high level of quality security services are maintained. Dan has over 20 years of experience in the security services industry.

Prior to joining Titan, Dan worked for an international security company where he was directly responsible for the supervision of managers across numerous states. Dan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama-Huntsville.

David is the former Chairman of Titan Security and has been in the security business for over three decades, now acting as a consultant for Titan. David’s goal for Titan was to provide customized security services to clients throughout the Chicagoland area. After 25 successful years, Titan is one of the largest privately-owned security companies in the Chicagoland area. David continually strives to provide the highest quality of security services, and his achievements have been nationally recognized, as Titan has been ranked as one of the top 15 security firms nationwide.

David is a board member of the IDFPR Private Security Board and the Illinois Security Professionals Association Board, as well as a member of the American Society for Industrial Security Operations’ (ASIS) Security Services Counsel, and Associated Detectives of Chicago. He received his degree from MacMurray College, and is a certified Private Alarm Contractor, as well as an Illinois Private Security Contractor, and holds a Locksmith license.
