In cooperation with our cross-sector safety partners, Titan Security is monitoring the events around the 2022 Chicago Triathlon, set to be held on Sunday August 28. Streets throughout the downtown Chicago area will be closed beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 27. Closures for the Chicago Triathlon will conclude at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday August 28. These closures will impact high traffic areas including Lake Shore Drive, Wacker Drive and the area around Millennium Park and Grant Park.

In coordination with our cross-sector partners dedicated to safety and security, Titan is monitoring an emergency “Stand with GAZA” protest being held by the coalition for Justice in Palestine on Tuesday August 9th in downtown Chicago.
The protest is scheduled to start at 4:30pm CT at Michigan Ave and Ida B Wells Dr. The Justice in Palestine group can draw several hundred and sometimes thousands for their cause. They historically march to 500 W Madison and tie up traffic during rush hour. It is expected that while potentially disruptive, these events are anticipated to be largely peaceful.
As information surrounding this and associated demonstrations becomes available, it will be posted on the Titan News and Resources hub.

- Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00am, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Rally for Life.”
- Wednesday, June 29 at 5:30pm, 1800 S Wolcott Avenue (Harrison Park) to Undisclosed Location(s). Group will gather/ride for their cause “Bike Jam for a Bike Grid – Pilsen Edition.” Route is unknown.
- Saturday, July 2 at 12:00pm, N Michigan at Dusable Lake Shore, Group will gather for their cause “Chicago Abortion Rights Protest”
- Saturday, July 2 at 2:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “”Overturning of Abortion Rights is Illegitimate and Must Not Stand!”
- Monday, July 4 at 11:00am, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Nationwide Boycott 4th of July, Police Brutality Murder”
- Monday, July 4 at 2:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “July 4th National Day of Protest: When Women Are Not Free, No One Is Free”

- Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
