Chicago Event and Demonstration Activity: June 27 to July 10, 2022

In coordination with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security is monitoring the following protest activity in or near the Chicago Loop.

Anticipated Demonstrations

  • Monday, June 27 at 6:00pm, 1500 W Warren (Union Park), Group will gather for their cause “Roe Overturned: Public Meeting to Discuss Our Fightback!”
  • Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00am, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Rally for Life.”
  • Wednesday, June 29 at 5:30pm, 1800 S Wolcott Avenue (Harrison Park) to Undisclosed Location(s). Group will gather/ride for their cause “Bike Jam for a Bike Grid – Pilsen Edition.” Route is unknown.
  • Saturday, July 2 at 12:00pm, N Michigan at Dusable Lake Shore, Group will gather for their cause “Chicago Abortion Rights Protest”
  • Saturday, July 2 at 2:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “”Overturning of Abortion Rights is Illegitimate and Must Not Stand!”
  • Monday, July 4 at 11:00am, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Nationwide Boycott 4th of July, Police Brutality Murder”
  • Monday, July 4 at 2:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “July 4th National Day of Protest: When Women Are Not Free, No One Is Free”
  • Monday, July 4 at 4:00pm, 3100 S Dusable Lake Shore (31st Street Beach), Group may gather for their event “Teen Trend Meetup” *
  • Friday, July 8 to Sunday July 10, at 500 S Columbus (Grant Park), Group will gather for their event “Taste of Chicago”
  • Sunday, July 10 at 12:00pm, 200 E Cermak (Wintrust Arena), Group will gather for their event “WNBA All-Star Game 2022”
  • Date TBD at 12:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group(s) will gather/march for their cause “Dobbs Decision Day – Overturn Roe.” **

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
