Chicago Demonstration and Special Event Activity: May 1 to May 15, 2024
In coordination with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security is currently monitoring the following protests and events in or near the Chicago Loop.
Anticipated Protests and Events
- Wednesday, May 1 at 11:00am: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group will gather for their event “Cloud Gate/The Bean Reopening”
- Wednesday, May 1 at 6:00pm: 1501 W Randolph (Union Park), Group will gather/march for their cause “May Day Anarchist Parade”
- Friday, May 3 at 11:30am: 500 N Kingsbury (East Bank Club), Group will gather for their cause “Protest Senator Durbin at East Bank Club”
- Friday, May 3 at 5:00pm: 1135 S Michigan (Grant Skate Park), Group will gather for their event “Peaceful Skate for the Conflict in the Middle East”
- Friday, May 3 at 6:00pm: 1501 W Randolph (Union Park), Group will gather for their cause “May Day for Palestine”
- Saturday, May 4 at 8:00am: 700 S Columbus to 100 S Columbus, Group will gather/march for their event “Polish Constitution Day Parade”
- Saturday, May 4 at 12:00pm: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group will gather/march for their cause “Revolutionary Internationalist May Day Rally”

- Sunday, May 5 at 8:00am: 400 N Michigan, Group will gather/march for their event “St Jude Memorial March”

- Thursday, May 9 at 3:00pm: 111 S Michigan (Art Institute), Group will gather for their cause “Support Non-Tenure Track Faculty! Rally for a Fair Contract Now!”
- Thursday, May 9 at 4:45pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza) to 600 E Grand (Navy Pier), Group will gather/march for their event “Carry the Load Memorial Walk (Military Veterans)”
- Friday, May 10, All Day Event: 609 S State (Columbia College), Group will gather for their event “Manifest 2024”
- Saturday, May 11 at 12:45pm: 806 N Michigan (Water Tower), Group will gather for their cause “Be the Voice of Ukrainian Mothers”
- Saturday, May 11 at 2:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Unity in Adversity: Palestinian Flag Raising” ***
- Sunday, May 12 at 11:30am: 806 N Michigan (Water Tower), Group will gather for their cause “Mothers in Mourning”
- Tuesday, May 14 at 11:30am: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Israeli Flag Raising” ***

Event/Protest Best Practices

- Utilize the buddy system
- Remain alert and be observant of surroundings

- Do not jump any barricades

- Leave yourself room to move quickly
