Chicago Demonstrations and Events: March 15 to March 31, 2023

In coordination with our cross-sector public-safety partners, Titan Security is monitoring the following protest and special event activity in on near the Chicago Loop.

Anticipated Protests/Events

  • Saturday, March 18 at 11:00am: 400 N Michigan (Wrigley Building); Groups will gather for their protest / counterprotest “ANSWER Peace in Ukraine / Support Ukraine! Demand Justice!”
  • Saturday, March 18 at 12:00pm: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Groups will gather for their protest / counterprotest “March for our 2nd Amendment Rights / Counterprotest”
  • Saturday, March 18 at 2:00pm: E Ida B Wells/S Michigan, Group will gather for their cause “Chicago Trans Day of Resistance”
  • Sunday, March 19 at 12:30pm: 78 E Washington (Cultural Center), Group will gather/march for their cause “Iraq War Memorial Activation: Marking 20 Years”
  • Tuesday, March 21 at 11:00am: 10 S Dearborn (Chase Tower), Group will gather for their cause “Banking on Our Future: National Day of Action”
  • Tuesday, March 21 at 7:00pm: 401 N Wabash (Trump Tower), Group will gather for their cause “Peaceful Protest for Trump” (if former president is formally indicted / arrested)
  • Friday, March 24 at 12:00pm: 121 N LaSalle (City Hall), Group will gather/march for their cause “Protect Our City with Love, Not Hate!”
  • Saturday, March 25 at 12:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “Abolish ICE: Resisting 20 years of Deportations”
  • Sunday, March 26 at 7:00am: E Monroe/N Columbus (Grant Park), Group will gather for their event “Shamrock Shuffle” *
  • Monday, March 27 at 11:00am: 200 E Randolph (Aon Center), Group will gather for their cause “Rally: Say No to the Peoples Gas Rate Hike”
  • Thursday, March 30 at 5:00pm: 1213 S Halsted (UIC Forum), Group will gather for their rally / counterprotest “Rally with Senator Bernie Sanders”
  • Friday, March 31 at 5:00pm: 337 E Randolph (Maggie Daley Park). Group will gather/march for their cause “Chicago Protest: Stop Drag Bans, Protect Trans and Queer Rights!”
  • Date TBD: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Protest the U.S. District Court Decision to Revoke Approval of Abortion Medicine Mifepristone” **

Event/Protest Best Practices

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
