In coordination with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security is monitoring the following anticipated demonstrations and events in or near the Chicago Loop.
Protests and Special Events
- Tuesday, August 15 at 12:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group may gather for their event “India Flag Raising”
- Tuesday, August 15 at 1:00pm: 100 W Randolph (Thompson Center), Group will gather for their cause “Tell Governor Pritzker Free Our Loved Ones! Free Them All!”
- Friday, August 18 at 5:00pm: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group may gather for their event “Teen Trend Meet Up” *
- Saturday, August 19 and Sunday August 20, 11:00am: 1600 N Dusable Lake Shore (North Ave Beach), Group will gather for their event “Chicago Air & Water Show” **
- Sunday, August 20 at 1:00pm: 455 Cityfront Pl (NBC 5) to 190 N State (ABC 7), Group may gather/drive for their cause “Release Imran Khan Car Caravan”
- Sunday, August 20 at 2:00pm: 400 N Michigan (Wrigley Building) to 201 E Randolph Millennium Park), Group will gather/march for their cause “Putin is a Killer! No to Putin!”
- Tuesday, August 22 at 12:00pm: 333 S Columbus (Buckingham Fountain), Group will gather/march for their cause “SAG-AFTRA On Strike: National Day of Solidarity”
- Thursday, August 24 at 12:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Ukrainian Flag Raising”
- Friday, August 25 at 5:30pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Chicago Critical Mass”
- Saturday, August 26 at 9:00am: 1000 W Fulton (Fulton Market), Group will gather/drive for their event “CheckeditoutChicago: Porsche Caravan”
- Saturday, August 26 at 3:30pm: 501 S Michigan (Grant Park) to N LaSalle/W Wacker, Group will gather/march for their cause “Ukraine – Unbreakable Nation (Ukrainian Independence)”
- Sunday, August 27 at 6:00am: Lakefront/Dusable Lake Shore Drive, Group will gather for their event “Chicago Triathlon” (Street closures through 2:00pm)
- Sunday, August 27 at 1:30pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “Keep the Dream Alive: 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington”
- Monday, August 28 at 3:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “End Overdose Now Illinois”
- Thursday, August 31 to Sunday, September 3: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group will gather for their event “Chicago Jazz Festival”

* = Teen “trend” events are social-media driven gatherings and attendance is highly weather dependent
** = Event is north of Loop, but may attract crowds exceeding 500,000 along lakefront
Event/Protest Best Practices
- If you see something suspicious, report it
- Carry water and stay hydrated
- Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
- Utilize the buddy system
- Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
- Leave any valuables at home
- Do not jump any barricades
- Secure handbags and wallets
- Stay calm and pleasant
- Follow your own instincts
- Leave yourself room to move quickly
