In collaboration with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security is currently monitoring the following special events and public demonstrations.

• Friday, April 29 at 4:30pm, 500 W Madison (Israeli Consulate) to 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “March for Palestine and Al Quds in Chicago” *
• Saturday, April 30 at 5:00pm, 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group may gather for their event “Teen Trend Meet Up”
• Sunday, May 1 at 10:00am, 1501 W Randolph (Union Park) to 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group(s) will gather/march for their causes “May Day March – Abortion Rights, Immigrant Rights”
• Sunday, May 1 at 12:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Unite the Left 2022, Chicago May Day March”
• Sunday, May 1 at 12:30pm, 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park/Wrigley Square), Group will gather for their cause “Stand with One Voice Sri Lanka”
• Sunday, May 1 at 2:00pm, North LaSalle at Riverwalk, Group will gather for their cause “Stand with Ukraine – Human Chain Along the Chicago Riverwalk”
• Tuesday, May 3 at 5:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Emergency Rally for Abortion Rights” ***
• Thursday, May 5 at 12:00pm, 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israeli Independence Day) Flag Raising Celebration” **
• Saturday, May 7 at 11:30am, 700 S Columbus to 100 S Columbus, Group will gather/march for their cause “Polish Constitution Day Parade” ****
• Saturday, May 7 at 1:00pm, 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Emergency Rally: Defend Roe! Fight for Abortion Rights” ***
• Monday, May 9 at 10:00am, 149 N Michigan (Michigan and Randolph), Group will gather for their cause “Chicago Circumcision Crisis Protest 1.0”
• Monday, May 9 at 6:00pm, 122 S Michigan (Philippine Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “Vigil for a Clean & Honest Election”
• Wednesday, May 11 at 3:45pm, 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza) to 600 E Grand (Navy Pier), Group will gather/march for their cause “Carry the Load National Memorial May Rally – Midwest Relay”
• Thursday, May 12 at 5:00pm, 221 N Columbus (Radisson Blu Aqua), Group will gather for their cause “Protest Planned Parenthood Fundraiser in Chicago” ***

* = Potentially disruptive to evening pedestrian and vehicle traffic around Ogilvie train station

** = Likelihood of counterprotesters is significant for this event

*** = Imminent SCOTUS decision resulting in very large increase in abortion-related demonstrations

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

• If you see something suspicious, report it
• Carry water and stay hydrated
• Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
• Utilize the buddy system
• Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
• Leave any valuables at home
• Do not jump any barricades
• Secure handbags and wallets
• Stay calm and pleasant
• Follow your own instincts
• Leave yourself room to move quickly
