Updated Protest Activity: February 2022

In coordination with our public sector and private sector partners, Titan Security has identified a number of upcoming demonstrations in and around the Chicago Loop.

Anticipated Protest Activity

  • Thursday, February 10 at 11:45am, 163 E Walton (Knickerbocker Hotel), Group will gather for their cause “Protest Millennium Hotels for Sponsoring the Deadly Iditarod Dog Race”
  • Friday, February 11 at 10:00am, 121 N LaSalle (City Hall), Group will gather for their cause “Mayor Lightfoot, Every Child is my Child…Safe Schools”
  • Friday, February 11 at 11:30am, 227 W Monroe (BlackRock), Group will gather for their cause “Solidarity Rally for Blackrock Miners”
  • Monday, February 14 at 10:00am, 1500 W Randolph (Union Square), Group will gather/march for their cause “Day Without Immigrants March” *
  • Monday, February 14 at 10:00am, 50 W Washington (Daley Center), Group will gather for their cause “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Rally for Indigenous Women” *
  • Tuesday, February 15 at 5:00pm, 111 N Canal (Starbucks Regional), Group will gather for their cause “Stand Against Union Busting”
  • Saturday, February 26 at 11:00am, 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza) to 500 N Michigan (Bosnian Consulate), Group will gather/march for their cause “Bosnian & Herzegovinian Independence Day March”

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
