Place the mask over your face, with the bottom below your chin and the nosepiece up. Place the straps of the mask over each of your ears. Adjust the metal nose clip using fingers from both hands to mold the clip to the shape of your nose. Adjust fit as necessary to reduce air flow around the mask.

For disposable masks and cloth masks: Untie the strings behind your head or stretch the ear loops and fold the outside corners together.

Respirators: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Disposable masks should be thrown away after they’re worn once.

If you use respirators, check the manufacturer’s instructions to learn how long they can be worn before they should be thrown away.

Disposable masks and respirators that become wet or dirty should be thrown away in the trash right away. Do not continue to wear a wet or dirty mask. Replace it with a dry, clean mask.

Yes. Titan can provide proper PPE to ensure employees can safely do their job, including face coverings and gloves.  PPE must be properly worn at all times while at work.  If a client is requesting face coverings and gloves notify your supervisor and the uniform department to place an order at [email protected].

Yes.  Titan trains our employees to monitor and remind tenants, visitors and building contractors of building policies.  However, our employees are not law enforcement and will not detain someone violating a policy.

The client and or building should provide regular cleaning of the security workstations in compliance with CDC and WHO protocols.  However, employees should keep their work area clean during and throughout their shifts.  Refer to the flyer Best Practices for Cleaning your Work Area.  Contact your supervisor with any further questions or concerns.

Yes.  A memo including an acknowledgment form documenting that all employees were notified will be posted at the site.  Ensure either the (i) Memo to Employees Regarding Confirmed Titan Employee COVID-19 Case or (ii) Memo to Employees Regarding Confirmed COVID-19 Case at the Building is completed by each employee assigned at the site and submit the complete document to the safety committee at [email protected].

Yes.  Under federal law, employers are permitted to ask employees if they have been vaccinated against COVID-19, and Titan maintains the confidentiality of that information as employee medical information.
