Chicago Events and Demonstrations: September 20 to September 30, 2022

In cooperation with our cross-sector public-safety partners, Titan Security is actively monitoring the following activity anticipated to occur in or near the Chicago Loop this month.

Anticipated Events/Protests

• Wednesday, September 21 at 7:30am: 3344 N Halsted to 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Chicago Bike Grid Jam” *
• Wednesday, September 21 at 9:00am: 121 N LaSalle (City Hall), Group will gather for their cause “Rideshare Drivers are Taking it to City Hall”
• Thursday, September 22 at 7:30pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Chicago Bike Grid Jam” *
• Friday, September 23 at 11:00am: 310 S State (Pritzker), Group will gather/march for their cause “Global Climate Strike Chicago”
• Saturday, September 24 at 5:00pm: 337 E Randolph (Maggie Daley Park/Grant Park), Group will gather/march for their cause “Walk to Free Leonard Peltier”
• Sunday, September 25 at 2:00pm: 806 N Michigan (Water Tower) to 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group will gather for their cause “Courage Has Colors – Colors of True Bravery are Blue and Yellow”

Safety Tips Near/During Protests

• If you see something suspicious, report it
• Carry water and stay hydrated
• Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
• Utilize the buddy system
• Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
• Leave any valuables at home
• Do not jump any barricades
• Secure handbags and wallets
• Stay calm and pleasant
• Follow your own instincts
• Leave yourself room to move quickly
